PREFERENCE
2010
Let us begin with another opening picture of me with my eyes closed.

I woke up in the morning feeling like P-Diddy. Jokes. I actually woke up feeling miserable and sooo tired because I haven't been getting a lot of sleep lately thanks to a certain couple of male mammals. I was pretty excited about this preference for two reasons.

1: I borrowed Alex's dress and it's really pretty and I have never worn a long, formal, pretty dress to any occasion in my life!

2: I borrowed Christine's extensions! Oh and I have an incredible roommate who knew what she was doing and she did my hair!

Since I borrowed really dark extensions, Breanne convinced me to dye my hair darker. OKAY!!! I have always been kind of sketch of store-bought dyes because I'm so used to having my mom buy dye from professional salons and the likes and such.

Breanne was super concentrated.
In the middle of the process of beautification.

The end result!

I was getting complements all day all thanks to the wondrous Breanne. I could not have done it without her!

So I went to school and Breanne had the day off so she started to cook our dinner. We wanted to try something new so we decided to make the German dish that I don't remember the name of.

It started out really great!

Oh so nice!

NOT!!!!

Breanne and I had to run to the store quickly and grab some pizza so the boys wouldn't be left starving all night. I had some of the meat that wasn't burned today and it is sooo delicious! Too bad it didn't work out. We'll do better next time.

Then Dalton and Jordan came over for some dessert!
MMmmmm raspberry jello!

And then we had a cute lil activity of draw the silhouette on the canvas!

We were going to paint them but I didn't know Marshie had the paintbrushes at his house so I didn't ask him to bring them over.

So CUTE!

We be cool.

And then we went to the dance and had some funsies!!!

YAY FOR PREFERENCE!

such is life

Meet Me

Me is a HUGE believer in having a different hair style almost every day.

This makes for a lot of variety in her mundane life.

In fact, Me has been approached by a number of people commenting on how they admire her hairstyles because they are so different every day.

So Me would like to say:

Get out there and have fun with your hair!

Put it in a bun, a ponytail, have pigtails, curl it, crimp it, toss it up, pin it, braid it, dye it, WHATEVER!!

HECK even SHAVE it! No worries, it will grow back!

Me used to just put her hair in a ponytail everyday...then she discovered the flat iron...and she never looked back.

Me is also not the type to write inspirational blog posts, so moving on:

Meet Kobe

Me loves this little thing with all her heart. Sure, he can be really bad sometimes, but he's just so snugly that Me must forgive him of all his wrongdoings.

Meet Breanne's note.

Me usually puts Kobe in Breanne's room when Me has to go to school. But this time Breanne wasn't home, so as you can see, Kobe would have been sad with a broken heart if Me had put him in there.

We are the coolest roommates ever!

Meet Nova

Nova was a beautiful, red beta fish. Me is very sad she didn't get any pictures of him before he died and swam to fish heaven. But luckily for us and for the sake of this story, Burns drew Nova before he swam away.

He liked building bubbles and he had a hard time eating his food. He always attacked the pellets like they were alive, so some ended up on the side of the fish bowl. Then he would proceed to jump for them. Me watched him jump for one once. He got it! She couldn't believe her eyes!

Meet Icarus

Once upon a time, Burns really wanted a book called Icarus at the Edge of Time. So Me tried to get him this book, but she couldn't find it anywhere (she ended up ordering it for him..isn't Me a good girlfriend?)

So Me went out and bought a beta fish, named him Icarus, and put a bunch of watches all around his fish bowl. Then Burns came over for dinner, and Me surprised him with Icarus at the edge of time!

Icarus wants to attack everything he sees...including his own reflection.

Meet Burns

He likes Me, and Me likes him.

Me thinks she has the most wonderful boys in her life! (see above picture)

Now meet winter

If you look carefully, you can see that someone wrote on the car at the front: move this.

Me hates winter.

It's cold, it's dark, it's cold, it's cold, and it's cold...and dark.

Oh and she has to wait for the bus twice a day 5 days a week. When it's on time, she's not, and when it's not on time, Me has to wait at least 15 mins for it. So sometimes Me thinks she is on time, but she just missed it, so she thinks okay well I will just have to wait 15 mins and it will come cause it's always 15 mins late in the winter. Then she ends up waiting 30 mins outside in the freezing cold weather because it was actually on time and the next bus comes in half an hour. JUST GREAT!

Then she wonders why anyone would want to live here.

Then she looks on the bright side. There are no crazy poisonous bugs/animals living up here, we don't live on a fault line, we don't live by the ocean, prone to tsunamis and tropical storms, and we get to go skating at Bowness Park and toboggan! YAY.

And then she thinks of how cold she is right now...and how dark it is outside.

Meet Window.

Me gets to look out of Window every day and this is what she sees in the winter.

At least Me has a lot to be grateful for.

(See previous posts of 5 things of thanks).

halloween billy!

HALLOWEEN

BILLY!!!!

HALLOWEEN

I would just like to start off by saying I love my puppy, Kobe. I know I say it a lot but he is just so dang cute! I FINALLY got him a much-needed kennel and nail clippers.

He was extremely cautious of the kennel, as I knew he would be, but Burns and I did our best yesterday to try to get him to like it.
He is sleeping in it as I am updating this here blog!

I would say mission accomplished but I haven't locked him in it yet. He will probably despise it by the end of today.

We like to chill together in the mornings and after school.

Back to what really matters:

HALLOWEEN

Guess who I am.

Still haven't guessed yet?

Here, I'll give you a hint:

MARILYN MONROE

Now guess who Burns is.

No, not Chriss Angel

But good guess.

He is a drummer!

He honestly looks like some guys at my school. They walk around with their disgustingly long hair that I'm actually quite jealous of (my hair could never grow that long) and they're usually the nicest people you will meet! Haha!

We actually had a band practice Saturday afternoon and Burns pulled out this wig and he rocked the drums with it on. Pretty awesome.

Marshall and Breanne, this is what you get for taking disturbing pictures on my camera: publicity.
On Sunday I made a DELICIOUS pot roast with onions, potatoes, and carrots. Breanne made the gravy and the lemonade, and Berekti made brownies. Burns and Marshie came over and we had such an enjoyable dinner. Not to mention Sacrament meeting was pretty great. Angela gave a really great talk and it was combined Relief Society and Priesthood where Bishop talked about gaining a testimony. It was pretty good.
After dinner Berekti suggested we go on a walk. Burns had to go sing, so Breanne, Marshie, Berekti and I headed to Bowness Park with Kobe. It was really nice and I had such a good Sunday!
