feels like forever

It feels like forever since I've posted an update.

1. I could never get sick of these:

Banana Chip Muffins
2. It's December and my cherry tomato plant is still making babies! I love having fresh cherry tomatoes to look forward to once every couple days.

3. I heard on the radio that this November has been the snowiest November in around 50 years! I was wondering what all this white stuff was doing on the ground. It's a lot prettier than brown and muddy that's for sure.

4. Carol invited Kutarnas, Biebers, Burns and me over for her 24th birthday party. I met her mom for the first time and she is so nice! I guess that's where Carol gets it from.

We had some dinner, we each received a pretty awesome gift bag, and we played some games like Hot Potato.

After the party we went home then Burns and Kobe passed out on the floor.

5. I can't believe this semester is almost over! Burns is super stressed about his exams coming NEXT WEEK! Where have the past 3 months gone? Pretty soon it will be Christmas and then it will be 2013!

6. I just got a surprise letter from the government of Alberta. Apparently I am eligible for Alberta Student Loan Relief Completion payment. They are going to help pay for quite a bit of my Alberta Student Loan. This is super exciting news for me!

7. Trajan and Bryanne are married! A lot more on that in my next post.

8. I was sick all day this past Sunday. Burns came to the rescue with chicken noodle soup, ginger ale, and croissants. It was so comforting to have him there with me all day. Thank goodness I was better on Monday so I could work! I get pretty lucky with getting sick on the weekends or over the holidays and I don't have to sacrifice making money.

9. The therapists and my coordinator at work have been telling me that I'm doing a good job. This is extremely comforting to know and yes, I'm still loving it. I went to the Staff Christmas Party last Thursday and we were supposed to bring a $5 ornament. I didn't get around to buying one, so I just wrapped an old ornament that I got 6 years ago at a church activity. I felt so bad, but then I noticed that nobody picked my present from under the tree (a couple people brought extra presents). I was pretty happy about that.

10. Arianne did an amazing job making a Christmas card for Burns and me. I'll post it soon!

  1. So awesome that you are getting help with your student loans!! Now you can sign up for the race with me next weekend! DO IT! I didn't know that they did loan relief any more. So, yay! I hope it happens to us! I am so jealous that your tomato plant is still growing tomatoes. LUCKY! It was fun seeing you at " work " the other day!
